Health Minister/Partners On Local Manufacturing And Supply Chain For Health Care Systems
Strengthening healthcare system and a viable management of all health issues including malaria elimination in Nigeria ate central in president Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda on health.
The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, stated this in Abuja during a flag-off event for PVAC, a presidential initiative to Enhancing Local Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for Health Commodities and Supplies in the country.
Prof. Pate emphasized the importance of expanding malaria case management, improving access to quality medicines, and enhancing local drug manufacturing.
The Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC)’s event theme is “Building the Industry for a Stronger Malaria Response and Resilient Healthcare.”
