Can Tinubu be beaten? Oh, without a shadow of a doubt… Yes, he can.
Can Asiwaju be toppled? Most certainly… even giants stumble.
Can Jagaban taste defeat at the polls? Believe it ... even lions miss their prey.
Only the Almighty boasts an unblemished record of triumph .... and since Tinubu doesn’t walk on water, he too can lose. He may wield the scepter of strategy and don the armor of ambition, but he bleeds like any other mortal.
But this is the Truth. .
The man fated to humble him wasn’t on the last ballot… and he’s nowhere near the next. Tinubu may not be divine, but he carries the fire of a seasoned gladiator, and until destiny delivers his worthy opponent, he’ll keep emerging victorious in the arena.
He is not unbeatable .... just unthreatened by the irritating neophytes currently lining up amd falling into disarray. The Lion can fall, yes .... but not to a kitten.
So spare us the emotional, pedestrian blackmail of “Tinubu should know he isn’t God.” Of course, he is not God. But God also knows Tinubu isn’t you. And a just God does not hand the reward of a master strategist and proven performer to mediocre gamblers.
So make peace with your fruitless ambition and embrace your ignominy at the grip of certain defeat...
