FG LAUNCHES ENTERPRISE CONTENT MANAGEMENT AT THE HEALTH MINISTRY
The Federal Government’s initiative to fully digitize the civil service by the end of 2025 is advancing its course, with the launch of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system at the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Abuja.
Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Didi Esther Walson-Jack at an engagement with the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Mohammed Ali Pate at the ministry's headquarters emphasized that the core objective of digitizing operations across all ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) is to enhance the efficiency of government operations.
ECM platform is a system reimagining how the civil service is meeting the expectations of Nigerians in an increasingly digitized world. The implementers of the project say this latest integration will drive automated processes of the health sector to better decision-making, greater accountability and ultimately, improved citizens’ healthcare outcomes.
