Today, we had the honour of hosting the Brazilian Business Community at the Ogun State Investment Summit, held on the sidelines of the 17th BRICS Summit. This high-level forum provided a unique platform to spotlight bold opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the clear vision driving Nigeria’s fastest-growing economy. From oil & gas to agribusiness, technology, tourism, manufacturing, aviation, automotive, mining, energy (including renewables), and technical and vocational education, Ogun State remains open for investment across Africa’s most dynamic sectors.
We used the opportunity to reinforce our state’s positioning as infrastructure-ready, policy-aligned, and investor-focused. We formally presented the Ogun State Investment Opportunities Compendium, a comprehensive guide for investors seeking clarity, confidence, and long-term value. We deeply appreciate the presence and support of key federal leaders whose contributions added significant weight to the discussions and outcomes of the summit: Mr. Wale Edun (Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy), Dr. Jumoke Oduwole (Minister of Trade and Investment), Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar (Minister of Foreign Affairs), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso (Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria), and Ms. Aisha Rimi (CEO/Executive Secretary, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission).
