FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO ENHANCE DIPLOMATIC TIES WITH GHANA
As part of Nigeria's diplomatic engagements, the Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strong relations with Ghana, including at the citizen-to-citizen level.
This was when Nigeria's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs met with the Inspector General of Police Ghana, Christian Tetteh Yohuno at Kotoka Accra International Airport.
A statement by Magnus Eze, Media Aide to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs disclosed this when the Minister concluded her two-day visit to Ghana.
Magnus Eze noted that the visit was aimed at addressing the welfare and security of the Nigerian diaspora community residing in Ghana.
Bianca Ojukwu had high-level meetings with the President of Ghana, the Foreign Minister, including traditional rulers as well as the Nigerian community based in Ghana.
The statement added that the visit also underscored Nigerian government's concern and proactive approach to citizen relations between the two West African neighbours.
