OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT COMMISSIONS AWOKOYA ROAD AND IGBEBA–TALBORT–YIDI LANE IN IJEBU ODE

, CON, has commissioned the newly reconstructed Awokoya Road and Igbeba–Talbort–Yidi Lane in Ijebu Ode Local Government, marking yet another major stride in its ongoing urban renewal and infrastructure agenda.
The roads, which were previously in deplorable condition and prone to flooding, have now been transformed into fully motorable routes, equipped with modern drainage systems, road markings, signage, and pedestrian-friendly features. The reconstruction is expected to significantly ease vehicular movement, improve safety, and enhance the economic vitality of the area.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Governor Abiodun emphasized the strategic importance of the project, noting that it aligns with the administration’s broader ISEYA development agenda aimed at making life better for all residents across the state. He appreciated the patience and cooperation of the people of Ijebu Ode throughout the duration of the project.
“This commissioning is another clear demonstration of our commitment to sustainable development and inclusive governance. We remain focused on ensuring that no part of Ogun State is left behind,” the governor stated.
