Imo is on the rise - safe, ready, and open for business. This resounding truth formed the cornerstone of my state of the State address delivered at the hallowed chambers of the Imo State House of Assembly in Owerri. I emphasized not just a vision, but a mission - the intentional transformation of our dear State into an enviable model of governance and progress.
I took deliberate time to highlight the strategic efforts that have catalyzed change across all sectors. From sweeping institutional reforms to expansive infrastructure development, innovative economic initiatives, educational advancements, healthcare improvement, youth empowerment, agricultural revitalization, enhanced digitalization, and robust environmental sustainability programs - our roadmap is clear and impact-driven.
Despite the global challenges of COVID-19, inflation, and persistent security threats, we have stood resilient. Imo has not only endured; it has thrived. Many thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose visionary leadership has led to increased State allocations - empowering States like ours to deliver more democratic dividends to the people. By this, sector by sector, we will continue to transform our dear Imo State in unprecedented ways.
We have redoubled our efforts - eliminating waste, strengthening revenue generation, and accelerating economic growth - all with the well-being of ndi Imo at heart. I have always declared a covenant with God to serve Imo, and I have remained steadfast to that sacred promise.
